A House is built with wall and beams...

A Home is built with hope and dreams...

Ronald McDonald House - Red Deer

Ronald McDonald House® Central Alberta is prominently located facing the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre and backing on to Gaetz Avenue.

The new House in Red Deer is serving the community of Central Alberta. The details of the House are as follows: www.rmhcentralalberta.org

  • Size of Property: 1/2 Acre
  • Size of House: 27,000 sq.ft.
  • Number of Family Suites: 11

Ronald McDonald House® Central Alberta is serving out-of-town families of sick children who are being treated at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. The safe, comfortable and affordable accommodation at the House will be run by compassionate volunteers and staff.

The House will offer families a place to share experiences with other families who find themselves in similar situations and provide an opportunity for the family to rest, recover and relax after a long day at the Hospital. Family members will be able to engage in numerous recreation activities and programs and try to gain some normalcy in what is likely to be the most stressful time in their lives - caring for their sick child.

McDonald's and Ronald McDonald House® Charities will be a supportive partner with Ronald McDonald House® Central Alberta providing guidance and assistance including a financial contribution of up to 20% of the capital cost and funding towards some of the operating costs of the new House.

Similar to the other 12 Houses across Canada, Ronald McDonald House® Central Alberta will rely on its community for the lion's share of the required financial support to build and operate the new House.

Together, let's give sick children what they need most - their families.

NEV FOUNDATION is so proud to be the only MOM and POP Suite in the building named “NEV SUITE” to keep Brent’s proud spirit and memory alive.
